Visual information display in AR-environments

چکیده
This paper describes a literature study concerning the representation of visual aids and cues in an Augmented Reality (AR) environment. An overview is given of current scientific knowledge about visual information display in 2Dand 3Dinterfaces that is specifically useful for current and future ARinterfaces. An important element is the peripheral sight, as this is one of the least explored possibilities in AR-interfaces. The research should provide AR-interface designers with useful guidelines for the design of AR-interfaces.
